Katalyxt a subsidiary of Mint Management and Finance Services Limited, presented the first and the second round of Judging for the “Katalyxt Youth Innovators Competition” under the theme “Planting the Seed of Entrepreneurship in Fertile Soil” at the Jamaica Conference Center on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 and Thursday May 3, 2018. Orthotic Clinic in Negril sponsored by RIU Hotels achieves treatment for 260 children

In the nine years since it opened, the Paediatric Orthotic Service in Negril sponsored by RIU Hotels & Resorts, has treated and monitored 260 Jamaican children with mobility problems. The hotel chain was responsible for the clinic’s creation in 2009, when it hired a nurse, an administrator and a technician with a view to improving the care that children with special needs receive, and it has continued to contribute to the local Jamaican community by renting and maintaining the clinic space. Thursday, February 22 nd saw the ninth staging of the Jamaica Cancer Society’s Healthy Lifestyle Youth Forum held at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston. Gov’t introduces healthy lifestyle programme in juvenile facilities

MORE THAN 530 persons across the island’s four juvenile correctional institutions will benefit from the We Transform Programme’s healthy lifestyle pillar which seeks to engage children on the topic of
