Put your bun and cheese on pause and come along for the ride! This week, we're checking out what's hot at Jewel Runaway Bay Resort to really make your Easter sizzle!

General Manager Scott Robbins welcomes you.

Overview: Located along Jamaica's idyllic north coast, the all-inclusive Jewel Runaway Bay Resort prides itself on wholesome entertainment for the entire family. The resort boasts an extensive teen and tween programme that includes access to a water park, a ranch and a newly upgraded teen centre. General Manager Scott Robbins told Youthlink, "We have to keep on adding more and more activities because we do a lot of activities for the teens and tweens, so every year it has to get more and more exciting."

Things to do
The water park: Swing by the Jewel Lagoon to make a splash! You'll find some sweet rides, an elaborate lunch menu, great music and a friendly staff. For this one, pack your swimsuit, of course, as well as sunscreen or any other protective agent for your skin.
General Manager Scott Robbins welcomes you.

The ranch: If you're into animals, you'll be amused by the guinea pigs, rabbits and horses kept at the ranch for your viewing pleasure. If you're the wilder type, you'll love the rush of laser tagging or trying your hand at archery (bow and arrow). Just be sure to pack your sneakers and shorts, because it's going to get a little messy.

The teen centre: Here you'll find loads of virtual activities to suit any interest. There's also a pool table, juice machines, seating area and, topping it all off, a recently added recording studio! According to Robbins, "Everyone sings in the shower, so it (the recording studio) is something really cool and you can walk away with the actual CD and send it to a recording company; and you never know."

YL Must-try meal: Ask for the Chicken Slider or the Classic Cheese Pizza at the Grill by the Waterpark. Thank us later.

Final thoughts:
Group/loaner/date? This one's definitely a group attraction. Put it this way, you'll need some friends with whom to take the most popping group selfies, record at the studio and just to make your day worth remembering.

Currently, a day pass costs US$90 with group rates of US$60 for adults and $30 for kids available. This pass includes access to the water park, teen centre and ranch. Call ahead of time to make arrangements. For more rates or for more information, call 1-876-973-6099 or visit www.jewelresorts.com.
